I absolutely enjoyed working with Mike! He is very knowledgeable about shutters (the business name speaks for itself). He was very professional and gave me his expert advice when it came to deciding what kind of plantation shutters I should get for my new home since this was the first time I was purchasing them. I truly loved the fact that he offered free consultation. He measured all the windows and quickly provided the quote by printing them on the spot. Not only that, but he was not that “pushy salesman” trying to get you to buy right away. He was respectful by allowing me to have time to think it over and to call anytime if I had any questions. I’m very pleased with the installation of the shutters as they turned out to be very beautiful!”

Sunburst Plantation Shutters

For customers in our Denver and front range service area with rounded or arched windows we offer a unique plantation shutter design called a sunburst.

These interior shutters take their name from the round “sun” shape at the bottom and how the louvers are emanating or bursting from the center like the rays of the sun.

Although sunburst plantation shutters are only available in wood, they are color-matched to the exact white of our composite plantation shutters that are so popular with our Denver customers. They look so perfectly matched that you can’t tell them apart from our composite shutters.

Sunbursts are unique in a few ways, one is that the louvers are not connected to each other like a standard window unit, so you can individually adjust each louver to create any pattern you like. Secondly, the panels are considered a fixed panel, they are not hinged so they don’t open. A Sunburst plantation Shutters above a window in Denver bedroom

Covering a half-round window is your choice, some of our customers will choose not to cover it, and others like a more complete look of covering all of their windows with plantation shutters. There is no right or wrong way, only what you feel looks right for your home.
