I started with Home Depot which uses Rockwood for their plantation shutters. Rockwood's reviews are not stellar if you do a little research. Their sales rep was extremely nice and their quote was about $500 less than my quote from Just Plantation Shutters. Rockwood used 100% PVC shutters vs the resin composite JPS uses which in my research is a better product. When Mike came out, he noticed that our windows could be tilted in for cleaning. He mentioned that our shutters had to use an outside mounting otherwise the windows would no longer tilt in. This was just one of several items that Mike mentioned to us that were great points that were not mentioned by Rockwood. Mike's reviews are well deserved from my experience working with them. The install was quick and painless. The 10% price difference was worth the peace of mind that everything would be done correctly from start to finish. This was a breeze.
